The 2012 IRC Plan Review course is a moderately-paced seminar that provides
an overview of portions of the IRC, dealing with many facets and issues of building.
Major and minor code items that will help speed up the plan review process
and provide fewer corrections in the field will be discussed. Administration rules,
definitions, building planning, foundation, wood-frame construction and roofing
provisions will be covered. This seminar is applicable to all aspects of the
design/construction/regulatory community, including contractors and design
professionals.

2015 IBC Use of Fire & Smoke Separations (1/2 day)
2015 ICC Commercial Cooking Systems (1/2 day)
Instructor: ICC – Terrell Stripling
This course is an in-depth discussion of the fire-resistant-rated construction,
Chapter 7 and 8, and fire protection, Chapter 9, provisions of the 2012 IBC. The
class will include a discussion of available resources to comply with these chapters
and includes discussion of where fire protection systems are required to be
installed. The installation standards for fire protection systems will not be discussed
in the class.

slab-on-grade, reinforcing steel, anchorage, retaining walls, light conventional
wood-frame construction, load paths, notching and boring, girders and
headers, connections and brace walls, and roofing provisions of rafters / roof
trusses.

2015 IBC Exterior Wall & Opening Protection (1/2 day)
Instructor: ICC – William Hudson
This course is an overview of the requirements for multi-family dwellings in the
International Building Code. Construction a type V-A building is likely the most
difficult type of construction. This course discusses the design, construction
and inspection of Group R-2 occupancies including building planning, fireresistive
rated construction, fire protection requirements and means of egress.
