Join us for a comprehensive training session covering two critical areas of the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), featuring expert instruction from two distinguished presenters.
Part One – Nuisance Vegetation & Animals/Insects (Missouri Department of Conservation) Representatives from the Missouri Department of Conservation will provide guidance on identifying and addressing nuisance vegetation, animals, and insects as they relate to the requirements of the International Property Maintenance Code. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on recognizing code-relevant conditions and understanding available resources for remediation and compliance.
Part Two – Residential Occupancy Inspections (Jeff Center) Jeff Center will lead an
in-depth session on conducting residential occupancy inspections under the International Property Maintenance Code. This portion will cover inspection procedures, common violations, documentation, and best practices for ensuring residential properties meet established maintenance and habitability standards.
Roundtable Discussion – Residential Occupancies in the St. Louis Metro Area The session will conclude with an open roundtable discussion focused on the unique challenges and considerations surrounding residential occupancies in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Attendees are encouraged to share experiences, ask questions, and engage with peers and presenters on local trends and enforcement strategies.
This class is designed for code enforcement officers, property maintenance inspectors, municipal staff, and other professionals involved in property compliance and community standards.
