Attend a workshop that focuses on tornado resistance for
wood framed construction. This workshop will cover storm
details and code requirements along with how Simpson
Strong-Tie products can be used to meet code and provide a
better way to build. Additionally, attendees will learn about
establishing a continuous load path that transfers loads
throughout the structure and into the foundation. The workshop
will also include a segment on storm shelter construction. This
class targets architects, engineers, designers, code officials,
contractors, and everyone in the wood construction field. The
workshop will be taught by a team of Simpson engineers and
technical field representatives. 4 PDH’s/continuing education
