DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nIncludes those changes that occurred in the 2018 and 2021 editions of the IBC\n\n\n\nIdentify the differences between the 2021 IBC and the 2015 edition\n\n\n\nDetermine if the change is an addition\, deletion\, modification or clarification\n\n\n\nIdentify changes in format and technical requirements\n\n\n\nExplain the intent and application of the changes\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Lunch provided (Valenti’s)\, donuts\, coffee\, and beverages.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the instructor:\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nRob Neale is the owner and principal of Integra Code Consultants\, a Maryland-based firm that provides construction code consulting\, plan review\, course development and training. \nPreviously\, he was the International Code Council’s Government Relations Vice President for National Fire Service Activities where he coordinated efforts to promote US fire service engagement in the code development and enforcement process. \nRob also served as the Deputy Superintendent for the United States Fire Administration National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg\, MD.  He was responsible for development of curriculum aimed at improving the professionalism of America’s fire service. \nFor six years\, Rob managed the National Fire Academy’s Technical Fire Prevention curriculum; including fire inspection techniques\, prescriptive and performance-based fire and building code interpretation and application\, fire protection systems function\, design\, installation and standards\, and plan review for fire inspection personnel. \nIn 2023\, he was named the ICC Educator of the Year. In 2012\, he received the FEMA Administrator’s Award for Innovation for his development of the popular Coffee Break Training series. \nHe has more than 30 years’ experience in Washington state municipal fire protection as a fire chief\, fire marshal\, and fire fighter.
