May 16th, 2012 – Accessibility in the AM / Wood Frame Wall Bracing in the PM [ST. LOUIS CITY] Morning seminar will cover accessibility; Afternoon will discuss Wood Frame Wall Bracing requirements in the code. Registration Form
The Stoney Creek Inn will host the gathering, which includes morning and afternoon training seminars. There is no charge to MACE members, but you must register by March 16.
The morning seminar session, a Code Enforcement Summit dealing with foreclosed properties, will run from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Lunch is included at no extra charge and will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The afternoon portion of the educational agenda is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. and is a Building Construction Overview for Code Enforcement.

Learn how to deal with regulations that affect property maintenance on foreclosed properties at the March meeting of the St. Louis Association of Code Enforcement (SLACE). William Roach (left), Community Relations Manager forLPS Field Services, will be the guest speaker. He will also present information on how to identify the responsible party of a foreclosed property.
The meeting is set for March 21 and gets underway at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and the regular monthly business meeting, followed by Mr. Roach's educational presentation, which is scheduled to wrap up at approximately 1:00 p.m.
The City of Bridgeton will host the March 21 meeting at Bridgeton City Hall, located at 12355 Natural Bridge Road, Bridgeton, MO 63044.

USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter's two full-day (16 hours total) LEED Green Associate Exam Prep course is designed to prepare participants for the LEED Green Associate exam. Skilled instructors will provide an introduction to LEED, discuss methods of sustainable project delivery and green building principals, and offer test taking tips.

The February 8 MACE/SLACE seminar on Residential Mechanical and Plumbing Inspections was sold out, so we have scheduled a second seminar for those unable to attend.
Residential Mechanical Inspections and Residential Plumbing Inspections will be held March 8, 2012 in the first floor training room at the World Trade Center, located at 121 S. Meramec Avenue in Clayton.
