Full-Time Building Commissioner
The City of Valley Park is accepting applications for a Building Commissioner. Under the supervision of the City Clerk, these position responsibilities include the issuance of all permits, review all construction plans, perform inspections, organize public hearings and serve as the liaison to the Planning & Zoning Commission, investigate complaints, research municipal codes, and respond to public inquiries. Additionally, this position involves maintaining accurate records for all permits, plans, and inspection for the City of Valley Park. This is a full-time position and the pay is determined by qualifications. The application deadline is August 10, 2018.
