Pattonville Fire Protection District is currently seeking a Part-Time Fire Inspector for the District’s Fire Prevention/Risk
Reduction Division. This position will work under the direct leadership of the Deputy Chief Fire Marshal.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, performing commercial building inspections; completing and following
up on annual inspections; and providing administrative and clerical assistance.

Valid Missouri or Illinois State Driver’s License
Missouri State Fire Inspector Certification OR ICC Fire Inspector Certification
Prior Fire Inspector Experience
Current CPR Certification
Successfully pass drug test
Successfully pass police background check
All above plus:
Prior Fire Service Experience
Missouri State Certified Arson Investigator
5 or more years Prior Fire Inspector Experience
Knowledge of plan reviews
All above plus:
Prior experience working as Fire Department Code Enforcement Official
Prior experience as Arson Investigator
10 or more years prior Fire Inspector experience

The physical demands of the position described herein include, but are not limited to, the following:
Walk large, open areas
